Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee projects, planning, and timelines for financial statements, audits, and corporate tax filings.

• Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, internal accounting teams, external accountants, and tax departments.

• Handle technical assessments, approvals, document management, and signatures.

• Negotiate fees with advisors/auditors and monitor them against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

• Review engagement letters from advisors and take part in audit discussions.

• Follow up on outstanding issues and ensure resolution.

• Maintain internal project trackers and database records.

• Reconcile accounting records between US GAAP and local GAAP standards.

• Reconcile local GAAP profit and taxable income.

• Address audit and tax inquiries.

• Prepare supporting schedules and analyses.

• Review financial statements, tax calculations, tax returns, and legal documentation.

• Prepare compliance returns for indirect taxes (e.g., VAT) and other local tax and financial/statistical submissions.

• Coordinate with the legal department to ensure company secretarial compliance.

• Assist treasury functions with dividend management and global cash oversight.

• Support tax investigations and audits.

• Create ad hoc reports, interim financial statements, and statistical analyses.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent accounting qualification such as CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA.

• Knowledge of both US GAAP and Local GAAP accounting standards.

• Understanding of how CRG applies accounting principles in a complex ERP system.

• Familiarity with cloud-based applications like Oracle ERP and Workday is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent formal academic/vocational credentials.

• Strong technical accounting capabilities.
