Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the continuous enhancement of accounting processes.

• Manage specific areas of financial accounting, focusing particularly on accounts payable and receivable management.

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with HGB.

• Prepare financial reports for international subsidiaries and carry out consolidations.

• Execute payment runs and conduct account reconciliations.

• Further refine and improve accounting processes.

• Assist in automating routine tasks.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, such as tax consultants and auditors.

• Ensure that business transactions are accurately recorded, efficiently processed, and comply with relevant regulations within the Accounting team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed commercial training or a relevant degree in business or economics.

• Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in a digital setting.

• Proficient in MS Excel.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Microsoft Navision / Business Central and DATEV.

• Experience in process digitalization.

• Keen interest in enhancing existing structures and workflows.

• Native-level proficiency in German.

• Good command of English for internal communications.

• Meticulous, organized, and self-reliant working approach.

• Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
