Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Perform monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, cash reconciliations, and variance analysis in accordance with US GAAP.

• Assist with quarterly and annual financial reviews and audits.

• Ensure audit-ready documentation is maintained.

• Conduct internal control testing to meet SOX 404 requirements.

• Organize and manage documentation and supporting schedules for financial reviews and audits.

• Aid in the month-end close processes for a US-based, NASDAQ-listed public company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Familiarity with US GAAP is essential.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP along with basic knowledge of SOX compliance/internal controls framework.

• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

• Fluent in professional English, both written and spoken.

• Ability to work in alignment with US Central time zones.

• Proven experience utilizing Claude or similar large language model tools.

• Exceptional analytical, operational, organizational, technical, management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.

• Experience working in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong communication skills.
