Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the Regional Controller in entering revenue data and preparing monthly accounting reports.

• Carry out daily accounting operations and keep financial records updated.

• Reconcile accounts in the general ledger, including cash accounts.

• Conduct bank reconciliations.

• Gather accounting information from various parking systems to compile monthly reports.

• Generate financial statements, reconcile balances, and post journal entries for month-end closing.

• Work in partnership with intercompany leaders and the internal financial reporting team.

• Communicate with external auditors and prepare necessary documentation.

• Create reporting materials, visuals, and tools for both internal and external reporting.

• Offer strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership regarding reporting practices.

• Timely enter Daily Parking Reports, managing up to 30% of report volume.

• Process general journal entries related to lot revenues and expenses.

• Complete necessary journal entries.

• Manage miscellaneous Accounts Receivable tasks.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (3-4 years) in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred.

• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Experience with external/internal reporting and consolidation is essential.

• Familiarity with AS400 Accounting Software is preferred.

• CPA designation is preferred.

• Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team, while meeting deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of data entry speed.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other computer skills.

• Capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
