Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee accounts receivable activities, which include invoicing, processing manual payments, generating aging reports, and reconciling accounts.

• Record regular journal entries and bank transactions.

• Input accounts payable invoices and credit card transactions.

• Execute month-end closing procedures and account reconciliations.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

• Conduct routine bank reconciliations.

• Collaborate with and provide support to team members across various departments.

• Maintain precise financial records and deliver timely reports.

• Assist in internal controls and budgeting processes.

• Ensure adherence to GAAP standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

• 1–2 years of experience in accrual-based accounting, covering accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing, and bank reconciliations.

• Proven experience in an accounting role.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.

• Competence in planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects efficiently.

• High attention to detail with strong proofreading and editing capabilities.

• Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced setting.

• Consistent and reliable attendance is crucial.

• Must have authorization to work in the country where the position is located.

• Willingness to undergo a Level II background and/or security investigation, including fingerprinting.
