Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting records using Microsoft Dynamics.

• Reconcile information across different IT systems and investigate any discrepancies to resolve issues.

• Maintain summary tables and provide supporting calculations for accounting records.

• Process payroll in accordance with relevant tax and labor laws.

• Review VAT returns that are prepared by the outsourced firm.

• Gather and systematically archive supporting documentation in line with retention policies.

• Complete account closures punctually and prepare or review financial statements.

• Assist in the annual audit process and prepare necessary audit deliverables.

• Engage in automation initiatives and other required projects.

• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and various service providers.

• Report directly to the Head of Accounting, Audit, and Tax.

• Cover a fixed-term maternity leave for approximately nine months.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics is required.

• Proficient understanding of IFRS and an ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, financial management, and EU taxation.

• Experience in dealing with external auditors.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Good IT skills, including familiarity with Google products and Excel.
