Account Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account-based sales executives and Channel Partners to drive new sales growth within the Design and Manufacturing sector.

• Convert customer business challenges into technical solutions.

• Assess customer strategies and align Autodesk products with their objectives and outcomes.

• Oversee customer planning, engagement processes, and the curation of sales content as the main technology expert.

• Construct technical business cases through discovery workshops and solution development.

• Present Autodesk technology as a resolution for customer business challenges.

• Lead technical discovery sessions and showcase findings and solutions.

• Manage technical relationships and collaborate with internal experts.

• Cultivate customer advocates and exhibit thought leadership.

• Work with Channel Partners and Customer Success teams to enhance satisfaction and adoption.

• Deliver presentations and messaging at the executive level.

• Articulate Autodesk's competitive position.

• Monitor customer successes and pinpoint opportunities for future value.

• Keep abreast of industry and global trends to develop ideas for revenue growth.

• Influence product development via customer feedback and business opportunities.

• Mentor Channel Partners on technical sales strategies.

• Shape the technical components of account plans and assist in sales execution.

• Guide whitespace planning and contribute to account strategy development.

• Partner with decision-makers to ensure technical closure.

• Create and present proposals and demonstrations.

• Position and promote Autodesk's distinct value proposition.

• Capture ROI metrics that support customer objectives and outcomes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.

• Over 7 years of experience in the Engineering field.

• Technical expertise with Autodesk Design and Manufacturing solutions such as Inventor, Vault, AutoCAD, Fusion Manage, or comparable industry software.

• Proficiency in selling and persuasion techniques.

• Capability to manage workload autonomously and prioritize effectively.

• Ability to collaborate within a team environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 50-70% by air and car for customer meetings and Autodesk-sponsored events.
