This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Promote products to achieve or surpass sales targets in community/private practices as well as hospitals/health systems.
• Establish and nurture relationships with customer accounts and various departments.
• Recognize customer needs, including training, clinical, operational, and reimbursement aspects, and address them utilizing appropriate AbbVie resources.
• Provide anatomical and procedural information and training, which includes anatomical terminology, injection paradigms/postures, and insights related to anatomy and injections.
• Offer education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and hospital staff.
• Collaborate with other Account Specialists to promote products for approved uses.
• Conduct individual, departmental, or group training sessions for residents and fellows within hospital/health system accounts.
• Leverage AbbVie sales and data resources to boost productivity and product expansion.
• Implement the U.S. Marketing Plan effectively.
• Adhere to company policies, reporting standards, promotional compliance, and field asset management.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred; relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Relevant industry experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of 5 years of technical experience, with at least 3 years of sales experience preferred.
• A high school diploma/GED is required.
• Capability to manage a complex sales process.
• Aptitude to rapidly assimilate procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information.
• Proficiency in communicating, presenting, and training diverse audiences.
• Ability to lift/pull training models weighing between 25–100 lbs.
• Must fulfill necessary hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements.
• Willingness to travel sufficiently to cover the territory, including overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings.
• Documented record of strong sales performance is preferred, ideally in a clinical/technical/consultative sales role involving multiple decision-makers.
• Must meet the applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain the necessary credentials.
