Account Specialist – Hydraulics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Drive sales while identifying and creating opportunities for a diverse range of customers

• Collaborate with Account Representatives within a designated territory

• Offer extensive expertise within a specific product family

• Conduct training sessions on Motion Industries products through technical presentations

• Enhance revenue and profitability by acquiring new customers and further nurturing existing accounts

• Regularly engage with customers in person to foster strong relationships and ensure satisfaction

• Comprehend complex customer needs to prepare tailored quotes

• Deliver compelling sales presentations and ensure all technical requirements are fulfilled

• Assist in on-site troubleshooting of customer issues

• Collaborate with local customers to identify products and solutions, prepare quotes, and finalize sales

• Provide technical support as necessary

• Coordinate with supplier resources to build relationships and bolster sales efforts

• Perform additional duties as assigned

• May require on-call availability during evenings or weekends, as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

• Typically requires relevant industry and sales experience

• Knowledge of industrial products, including power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other industrial products

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent understanding of fundamental sales principles and best practices

• Ability to influence customers while maintaining positive relationships

• Capacity to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong multitasking abilities and effective time management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Valid driver’s license
