This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Promote an AbbVie product to achieve or surpass sales targets within community/private practices, hospitals, and health systems.
• Build and sustain relationships with neurology, pain medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, primary care, pharmacy, and relevant customer accounts.
• Adhere to company policies, complete required reports, and meet promotional compliance standards and requests.
• Efficiently manage AbbVie field assets.
• Recognize customer needs concerning training, clinical, operational, and reimbursement issues.
• Address customer requirements by utilizing appropriate AbbVie resources.
• Provide anatomical and procedural information along with training, including details on injection paradigms, postures, and anatomical insights.
• Educate and train residents, fellows, and hospital staff on clinical/injection procedures.
• Collaborate with fellow Account Specialists to advocate for products within approved indications.
• Conduct resident/fellow training sessions within hospital and health-system accounts.
• Leverage AbbVie sales and data resources to enhance productivity and drive product growth.
• Execute the U.S. Marketing Plan effectively.
• Travel as necessary to cover the assigned territory and participate in scheduled training events and overnight sales meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of technical experience is required if a bachelor's degree is not held.
• Three (3) or more years of sales experience is preferred when considering the experience alternative.
• A high school diploma/GED is mandatory.
• Capability to manage complex sales that involve multiple decision-makers.
• Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information.
• Proficient in communicating, presenting, and training diverse audiences.
• Ability to lift or pull training models weighing between 25–100 lbs.
• Must meet hospital credentialing and vaccination criteria.
• Able to travel adequately to cover the territory, including overnight training events and sales meetings.
• A documented history of strong sales performance is preferred, ideally in clinical, technical, or consultative sales.
• Must fulfill applicable health care industry representative credentialing requirements.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain the necessary HCIR credentials.
• HCIR requirements may entail background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses.
