Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee, prioritize, and dispatch medical and imaging records through mail or courier services.

• Handle and allocate incoming record requests submitted online, via email, and by fax.

• Manage mail distributions within MRO Clinics CarePortal.

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of recipient information for every mailout.

• Release records, imaging, and forms in either paper or electronic formats in accordance with policies, procedures, or requester preferences.

• Organize courier pickups for packages when necessary.

• Collaborate with notaries for certifications prior to release when needed.

• Provide prompt and accurate status updates to requesters via email or telephone.

• Assist walk-in patients/requesters and coordinate with Account Managers on urgent requests or inquiries.

• Retrieve and/or burn imaging records to CD/DVD for mailing or patient collection.

• Monitor the inventory of office supplies and request additional supplies as required.

• Report issues and errors to department leadership.

• Prior experience in customer service and conflict resolution is essential.
