Account Sales Representative – Remote with Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Promote and sell products offered by Zidian Specialty Foods to designated customers and/or territories.

• Enhance profitable sales and distribution for Gia Russa and various John Zidian Group products.

• Increase sales and profitability within assigned accounts.

• Achieve distribution across the complete product range.

• Oversee shelf space management and request secondary displays.

• Prepare and manage sales reports as needed.

• Process sales orders, credits, and returns utilizing handheld applications.

• Respond to emails and utilize Outlook Mail and Calendar for communications.

• Proficiently use Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Ensure timely and accurate execution of sales orders and related paperwork.

• Optimize daily sales performance through effective time management.

• Adhere to management decisions and directives.

• Engage in communication with customers, management, office staff, warehouse personnel, and buyers.

• Stay updated on industry news and comprehend annual management goals.

• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge.

• Foster strong relationships with customers.

• Demonstrate sound judgment, consideration, cooperation, and professional ethics.

• Comply with safety regulations and requirements.

• Ensure that the vehicle used for driving is in safe operating condition.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Previous experience in retail packaged goods or food sales is preferred.

• Basic reading and writing capabilities are essential.

• Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite software is beneficial.

• Capability to operate personal computer equipment.

• Valid driver's license for an automobile or van required.

• Clean driving record is essential.

• Maintain excellent personal hygiene standards.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.

• Strong organizational skills are necessary.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Willingness to travel as required for the role, including air travel.

• Good physical fitness with high stamina and dexterity.

• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. or more.

• Good hand coordination with both hands.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Capable of driving an automobile and sitting for long durations.

• Able to bend, stoop, and reach overhead as needed.

• Excellent eyesight with very good peripheral vision.

• Availability to work long hours and overtime when necessary.

• Willingness to work in hot and humid conditions.
