Account Sales Representative – Remote with Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Promote and sell products offered by Zidian Specialty Foods to designated customers and/or territories.

• Enhance profitable sales and distribution of Gia Russa along with other John Zidian Group products.

• Increase sales and profitability within assigned accounts.

• Achieve distribution across the entire product range.

• Oversee shelf space management and request secondary displays.

• Prepare and manage sales reports as necessary.

• Accurately and promptly process sales orders, credits, and returns utilizing mobile applications.

• Respond to emails and effectively use Outlook Mail and Calendar.

• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel proficiently.

• Execute sales orders and related paperwork with accuracy and in a timely manner.

• Organize time effectively to optimize daily sales performance.

• Adhere to management directives.

• Engage in communication with customers, managers, office staff, warehouse personnel, and buyers.

• Stay updated on industry developments and annual management goals.

• Maintain a strong knowledge of products.

• Cultivate robust customer relationships.

• Adhere to safety practices and comply with regulatory standards.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.

• Previous experience in retail packaged goods or food sales is preferred.

• Basic reading and writing abilities.

• Proficient mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite software is advantageous.

• Capability to operate personal computer equipment.

• Valid driver's license for an automobile or van.

• Impeccable driving history.

• Excellent personal hygiene standards.

• Self-driven and capable of working independently without constant supervision.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Willingness to travel as required by the position.

• Must maintain good physical condition with high stamina and dexterity.

• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. or more.

• Good manual dexterity with both hands.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Proficient in driving an automobile and sitting for long durations.

• Ability to travel by airplane.

• Comfortable bending, stooping, and reaching overhead with ease.

• Excellent eyesight with very good peripheral vision.

• Willingness to work long hours and overtime as needed.

• Able to work in hot and humid conditions.
