Account Representative, SMB

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate and engage with the immediate team.

• Exercise judgment on significant issues.

• Acquire, manage, and nurture relationships with small and medium-sized merchants.

• Oversee and manage commercial relationships with approximately 200 SMB merchants across West and Central Germany.

• Propel growth through account management, retention, cross-selling, and sales initiatives.

• Utilize AI-driven tools to identify growth, cross-sell, and risk opportunities.

• Maintain precise reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and portfolio health.

• Share best practices with fellow AM2 colleagues.

• Coordinate with internal teams to address merchant needs.

• Determine the appropriate actions when standard processes fall short.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience combined with a Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

• Experience in customer-facing roles, account servicing, or relationship management is advantageous.

• Well-structured, organized, and capable of planning and segmenting a large customer portfolio.

• Proficient in customer and commercial discussions.

• Comfortable utilizing AI, data, and playbooks to make informed trade-offs.

• Dependable team collaborator who maintains accurate records, pipeline, and follow-ups.

• Ability to acquire, manage, and grow relationships with small and medium-sized merchants.
