Account Representative I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop or enhance the business portfolio by transitioning competitors' clients and growing designated medium-sized accounts into larger ones.

• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining regular contact and managing customer expectations effectively.

• Boost revenue and profitability through the generation of new business and the further development of current accounts.

• Generate new leads via networking, cold calling, directories, and online research.

• Regularly engage with customers in person to build strong relationships and ensure their satisfaction.

• Comprehend intricate customer needs for tailored quoting.

• Deliver impactful sales presentations while ensuring that technical requirements are fulfilled.

• Assist with on-site troubleshooting regarding customer issues.

• Coordinate vendor resources to cultivate relationships and support sales initiatives.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a bachelor's degree and zero (0) to two (2) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination.

• Familiarity with industrial products, including power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other industrial goods.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong understanding of fundamental sales principles and best practices.

• Capability to influence customers while fostering healthy relationships.

• Proactive approach and ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Skill in multitasking and effectively managing time.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Travel is required.

• Availability for on-call duties during nights or weekends may be necessary depending on demand.

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
