This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of a bookings quota and designated territory, independently sourcing and finalizing professional services engagements (Statements of Work, fixed-price agreements, multi-year contracts).
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with government executives, program managers, and agency leadership.
• Facilitate solution-scoping discussions and create persuasive, customer-focused proposals.
• Navigate SLED/NGO procurement avenues (e.g., NASPO ValuePoint, cooperative purchasing agreements, state-specific contract vehicles).
• Collaborate with resellers such as Carahsoft and other channel partners to enhance service outreach.
• Ensure precise forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce CRM.
• Present executive-level presentations and articulate business value narratives to C-suite and senior government stakeholders.
• Foster customer adoption and lifecycle management through proactive sales initiatives for both new and existing accounts.
• Proven experience with capture strategies, teaming strategies, and procurement strategies for large, complex professional services engagements.
• Proven capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (license, product, internal operations, architecture, and delivery teams).
• Over 8 years of experience in consulting sales with a proven record of success in state and/or local government and/or NGO markets, or a blend of professional services and technology sales in these sectors.
• A solid history of closing complex, SOW-based services engagements.
• In-depth knowledge of government procurement processes and contract vehicles.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior public sector stakeholders effectively.
• Preferred knowledge of Salesforce platform solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Government/Industry Clouds).
• Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
• Demonstrated interest in and understanding of rapidly-evolving AI tools for customer application as well as for use in delivery models for professional services organizations.
