This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
β’ Take ownership of and expand a portfolio of Professional Services opportunities within NGO and nonprofit sectors.
β’ Formulate and implement account-specific service strategies that align with customer transformation objectives and Salesforce product utilization.
β’ Facilitate discovery and scoping discussions to grasp business challenges, technical environments, and success metrics.
β’ Design and deliver tailored services proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and execution roadmaps that reflect NGO mission goals.
β’ Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with CxOs, IT leaders, and program directors.
β’ Work in collaboration with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and Customer Success teams to accelerate pipeline growth and finalize service agreements.
β’ Partner with Delivery Managers and Practice Leaders to ensure smooth engagement transitions and high customer satisfaction.
β’ Anticipate service bookings and uphold pipeline integrity within Salesforce CRM.
β’ Keep abreast of Salesforce product advancements, including Nonprofit Cloud, PMM, and NPSP.
β’ Champion the NGO segment through internal knowledge sharing, best practices, and market entry strategies.
β’ Over 7 years of experience in professional services sales, consulting, or account management.
β’ Proven experience collaborating with nonprofit or NGO entities, including insight into funding models, mission priorities, operational challenges, and constituent engagement strategies.
β’ A successful history of achieving or surpassing service revenue targets in a role with quota responsibilities.
β’ Experience in structuring and selling intricate, multi-phase professional services projects.
β’ Strong executive presence with the capability to convey value and influence C-suite decisions.
β’ Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
β’ Ability to work collaboratively across functions in a highly matrixed, dynamic environment.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
β’ Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.
β’ Familiarity with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, NPSP, or Program Management Module (PMM) is preferred.
β’ Salesforce certifications are a plus.
β’ Knowledge of grant management, fundraising platforms, or case management systems commonly used in the NGO sector is preferred.
β’ Previous experience at a systems integrator, consulting firm, or enterprise software company catering to the nonprofit sector is preferred.
β’ Understanding of compliance requirements for government-funded NGOs is preferred.
