This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Meet sales targets within the designated territory by cultivating, sustaining, and enhancing business opportunities.
• Establish and nurture relationships with targeted physicians, healthcare providers, and customers while advocating for Tolmar products.
• Generate, sustain, and boost sales by influencing prescribing behaviors.
• Engage with healthcare providers and health-related organizations in the territory.
• Build connections with non-prescribing decision-makers, including CEOs, CFOs, Nurse Navigators, nurses, medical assistants, and office managers.
• Comprehend the effects of local purchasing coalitions, GPOs, IDNs, and other health organizations.
• Offer oncology and urology practices and hospitals with contracting, training, technology support, and continuous customer service.
• Identify the needs for Tolmar’s proprietary Inventory Management System and oversee implementation and ongoing account training.
• Collaborate with other AMRs to manage overlapping accounts across different regions.
• Analyze weekly sales data reports to manage business requirements.
• Communicate contract measurement specifics to accounts.
• Follow up on product-interest leads and convert potential leads into active users.
• Provide or arrange customer training.
• Share clinical, technical, therapeutic, disease-state, and product information.
• Encourage appropriate on-label use of approved products.
• Create and deliver customer-specific sales presentations.
• Maintain databases that track sales calls, trends, objectives, sampling data, and territory performance.
• Complete regular reports and adhere to industry, regulatory, and company standards.
• Develop annual business plans and perform quarterly territory-performance assessments.
• Participate in trade shows, community events, and company meetings.
• Manage promotional-item inventory and budget in compliance with regulations.
• Record daily sales calls in the CRM, submit expense reports and mileage, and maintain the company vehicle.
• Cultivate internal and external relationships and collaborate across company departments.
• Ensure regular and punctual attendance; work in the field engaging with customers from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Candidates must reside in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area and centrally within the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field.
• Two or more years of proven business-to-business sales experience, ideally in the urology sector.
• Preferred experience in pharmaceutical/buy-and-bill sales.
• Clinical experience is beneficial.
• Consistent history of surpassing sales targets.
• Must be eligible and insured to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thought processes.
• Advanced organizational and follow-up competencies.
• Proven negotiation and selling skills with accountability in executing sales strategies.
• Aptitude for assimilating technical and scientific product-related information.
• Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects, interruptions, and tight timelines.
• Competence to implement effective business strategies for the assigned territory.
• Ability to foster working relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Initiative to act in the absence of specific direction.
• Ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, and adherence to industry ethical standards.
• Willingness to work additional hours and weekends as needed.
• Capacity to lift 50 pounds.
• Overnight travel required up to 50% of the time.
• Air travel as necessary.
