This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Evaluate and analyze personal and corporate financial documents alongside other loan underwriting materials.
• Review and authorize loan transactions up to $1,000,000 within DLA.
• Recommend approval for intricate loan transactions exceeding $1,000,000.
• Process complex new loan applications in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Prioritize daily tasks effectively.
• Assess security requirements for the current loan portfolio.
• Review loans to ensure satisfactory repayment history, ongoing security documentation, and status.
• Comply with risk, audit, and regulatory standards.
• Handle a significant volume of applications.
• Achieve and surpass established service-level agreements, coordinating with the Manager when SLAs are not fulfilled.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to advisors and clients.
• Communicate loan decisions and requirements clearly to advisors.
• Address inquiries from clients, financial advisors, and staff via phone or email.
• 3-5 years of experience in lending.
• Proficient in PC applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong conflict resolution abilities.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Capacity to organize and multitask efficiently.
• High accuracy and keen attention to detail.
• Preferred: Comprehensive understanding of banking policies, procedures, and products.
• Preferred: Strong knowledge of the banking sector.
• Preferred: Familiarity with banking systems.
• Preferred: Solid understanding of insurance and investment-based products.
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset; required for successful candidates in Québec to assist clients from various provinces outside Québec.
