This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement customer business plans and Joint Business Plans for designated Drive and Develop Accounts over a 12–18 month period.
• Achieve profitable growth through effective distribution, assortment, product placement, promotional activities, and new opportunities aligned with Zoetis priorities.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior and cross-functional contacts within customer organizations.
• Facilitate customer meetings, business reviews, negotiations, and strategic planning sessions.
• Act as the primary liaison between customers and Zoetis.
• Lead or assist in complex negotiations, annual terms, promotional plans, go-to-market strategies, and the activation of customer commitments.
• Utilize customer POS, market, and category data to uncover opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Oversee customer budgets and trade spending while concentrating on profitable growth and return on investment (ROI).
• Implement financial and net revenue management strategies, contributing to account-level profit and loss (P&L) decisions.
• Maintain precise sales forecasts.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply, Sales, and other partners to execute plans and address issues.
• Clearly communicate risks and opportunities, escalating concerns proactively.
• Ensure that account plans and customer activities are in alignment with Zoetis strategy, contractual obligations, pricing policies, and MAP compliance expectations.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as net sales growth, profitability, partnership strength, and execution quality.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in account management, sales, marketing, customer development, or commercial operations.
• Background in animal health, consumer packaged goods, retail, e-commerce, home delivery, or other customer-facing industries.
• Proven track record of developing and executing customer business plans.
• Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in navigating complex negotiations.
• Ability to leverage commercial data for decision-making.
• Strong financial skills, including concepts related to customer P&L, net revenue management, trade spending, budget oversight, and ROI analysis.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and organizational abilities.
• Preferred experience in omnichannel retail, companion animal health, veterinary products, pet care, pharmacy, or consumer health sectors.
• An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is advantageous.
