Account Manager – Post Acute Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee and expand a territory comprising post-acute care clients and potential customers across Minnesota.

• Generate new business through various channels including prospecting, networking, cold calling, and lead generation efforts.

• Establish strategic partnerships with key decision-makers in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, hospice, and other related healthcare organizations.

• Perform customer business evaluations to identify opportunities for enhancing operational and supply chain efficiencies.

• Demonstrate and sell medical-surgical products, equipment, and healthcare solutions using a consultative sales methodology.

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to meet sales and profitability objectives.

• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through effective account management and customer service practices.

• Collaborate with internal teams to provide effective product, service, and implementation solutions.

• Keep precise records of customer activity, pipeline, and opportunity data within Salesforce CRM.

• Regularly meet or surpass territory sales targets.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 4 years of professional sales experience.

• Possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Willingness to travel throughout the designated territory.

• Candidates must live within the assigned Minnesota territory.

• Experience in selling to post-acute care environments, including Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Rehabilitation Facilities, Home Health, Hospice, Durable Medical Equipment, and Wound Care.

• Background in healthcare distribution, medical devices, medical supplies, or healthcare services sales.

• Proven track record of surpassing sales quotas and revenue targets.

• Familiarity with consultative selling, account planning, and conducting customer business reviews.

• Experience with Salesforce CRM.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic sales environment.

• Frequent local travel within the territory is necessary; limited overnight travel may be required.

• Ability to travel by car to various customer locations throughout the territory.
