Account Manager – Lab & Analytical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage and expand IKA’s current Academic, Biotech, Pharma, Industrial, and Clinical customer base.

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within a designated territory.

• Promote the IKA product line effectively.

• Establish and nurture relationships with both direct customers and distribution partners.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to propel sales growth.

• Actively seek out new customers and convert competitive accounts.

• Create and implement strategic sales initiatives to meet territory revenue objectives.

• Assist in the training, onboarding, CRM, and Qlik software initiatives for Account Managers.

• Formulate and execute territory business plans aimed at achieving sales and revenue targets.

• Enhance existing customer accounts while identifying and acquiring new business opportunities.

• Build and sustain a robust sales pipeline.

• Foster strategic relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry contacts.

• Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Technical Support teams.

• Provide product quotations, technical support, and customer assistance.

• Attend and support local, regional, and national trade shows as necessary.

• Maintain precise records of customer interactions and sales activities within the CRM.

• Stay updated on IKA products, applications, industry trends, and competitive offerings.

• Supply competitive market intelligence and sales insights to the broader IKA team.

• Assist in training and onboarding for Account Managers as required.

• Proven sales, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

• In-depth knowledge of account management, business development, and strategies for territory expansion.

• Ability to comprehend and convey technical product information effectively.

• Preferred knowledge of laboratory and analytical products and their applications.

• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to analyze market trends and competitive activities.

• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across various departments.

• Willingness to travel frequently for customer engagements and trade shows.
