This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Implement the strategic and operational objectives as directed by Commercial leadership.
• Represent products to both new and existing customers while meeting assigned sales expectations and quotas for the territory.
• Drive daily sales targets aimed at increasing territory growth, which includes identifying and cultivating new accounts as well as planning launches.
• Develop and execute quarterly business plans and sales strategies based on territory quotas.
• Lead training and education initiatives during account launches.
• Present and implement Performance Guarantees at key accounts and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Relay account knowledge and requested information to the leadership team.
• Establish access to and foster relationships with physician champions in targeted accounts utilizing corporate resources.
• Deliver presentations to physician leaders, executive service line directors, supply chain leaders, and C-suite staff.
• Cultivate KOL advocates to educate and influence stakeholders on a regional and national level.
• Assist in corporate account contract negotiations with hospital and IDN leadership.
• Facilitate approvals for new products, including Value Analysis approval through champion development.
• Provide guidance on device suitability and comprehensive technical support related to imaging modalities, EKG, blood pressure, hemodynamic waveforms, and ancillary procedural solutions.
• Coordinate efforts among clinical specialists and align the team with the business plan.
• Deliver clinical and economic presentations to customers, committee members, and relevant staff.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, including the cultivation of KOLs.
• Foster relationships with hospital administrative staff and implement corporate contracts where applicable.
• Share product knowledge, train new hires, cover territories, exchange best practices, provide marketing insights, and share competitive intelligence.
• Oversee territory expenses, manage product returns, and maintain product inventory.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience is required.
• Strong preference for experience in Medical Device Sales within Interventional Cardiology and/or Structural Heart.
• In-depth knowledge of the medical device market, products, and customer base.
• A strong work ethic and a sense of urgency are essential.
• Highly developed business acumen with experience in targeting and prioritizing key customer accounts.
• Ability to establish personal credibility within the targeted territory and effectively communicate with clinical staff, administrators, and physicians while navigating challenges.
• Emotional Intelligence to manage schedules and clinical resources effectively and efficiently.
• Previous experience in medical device sales, ideally calling on Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, and administrators.
• Skills in strategic thinking and tactical planning, demonstrating flexibility, innovativeness, and resourcefulness.
• Ability to adhere to Company policies and procedures, the Quality System, and regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to travel domestically 25–50% of the time.
• Sales incentive (commission) based on the applicable plan terms.
