This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Oversee a designated territory and/or a specific portfolio of named accounts to meet and surpass sales objectives.
• Discover, cultivate, and convert new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and customer engagement.
• Enhance existing customer relationships by up-selling and cross-selling Agilent products, solutions, services, and consumables.
• Interact directly with customers throughout the entirety of the sales cycle.
• Lead opportunities through the stages of opportunity development, solution creation, negotiation, closing, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.
• Collaborate with Product Specialists, Market Specialists, Applications Engineers, Field Application Scientists, Technical Support Specialists, and other internal teams.
• Construct and sustain a robust sales pipeline along with precise opportunity forecasts.
• Foster strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and sustainable account growth.
• Promote balanced business performance across various product lines and strategic objectives.
• Keep precise records and document sales activities within CRM systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development, customer-facing commercial roles, or similar experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple customer priorities and opportunities at the same time.
• Self-driven with a results-oriented approach and a passion for delivering customer value.
• Proficient in both Italian and English, in written and spoken forms.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
• Experience within life sciences, diagnostics, analytical instrumentation, laboratory settings, medical devices, or related sectors.
• Background in a consultative or solution-selling environment.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and best practices for pipeline management.
• Post-graduate qualification, technical certification, or relevant professional license.
• Option to work remotely.
• Full-time weekly schedule.
