This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the designated territory while meeting equipment and consumable sales targets, profitability, and account management goals.
• Create and implement account-specific territory strategies to boost revenue and obtain new business opportunities.
• Provide quarterly forecasts for sales performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly Clinical Specialists, to promote technology adoption.
• Sustain existing business relationships while ensuring contractual adherence and fostering incremental growth.
• Investigate and address customer issues, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
• Keep up-to-date account, contact, and pipeline information in the CRM system.
• Utilize analytical tools to target new business prospects.
• Identify key influencers and determine needs that can be met by the company’s technologies.
• Educate clients on products, concepts, and industry developments.
• Cultivate clinical, economic, and technical advocates.
• Conduct sales presentations and product evaluations, gather data, and facilitate customer conversions.
• Organize multidisciplinary meetings within hospitals to achieve stakeholder consensus.
• Prepare quotes for equipment and consumables, and develop local contract agreements.
• Drive urgency for technologies and obtain capital funding from hospitals or departments.
• Oversee and plan product implementation from contract signing to go-live, including device setup, software integration, and laboratory equipment validation.
• Work in tandem with internal product development teams and provide insights on product improvements and competitive advancements.
• Partner with key opinion leaders and link them with industry thought leaders.
• Attend industry events and trade shows.
• Offer recommendations and stakeholder feedback to Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams.
• Engage in ongoing training to remain knowledgeable about clinical and competitive advancements.
• Sufficient experience and skills to manage hospital sales accounts, territories, and achieve equipment and consumable sales goals.
• Capability to design and implement detailed territory strategies.
• Ability to deliver accurate and timely quarterly sales forecasts.
• Proficiency in maintaining contract-compliant accounts and securing incremental business opportunities.
• Skill in investigating and resolving customer issues while implementing corrective actions.
• Competence in maintaining account data, contacts, and pipeline opportunities within a CRM system.
• Analytical capability to identify and target new business prospects.
• Ability to recognize key influencers and assess customer needs.
• Skill in educating clients about products, concepts, and industry trends.
• Proficiency in conducting sales presentations and product evaluations.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary meetings within hospitals.
• Capability to prepare equipment and consumable quotes and draft local contract agreements.
• Skill in securing capital funding from hospitals or departments.
• Ability to manage post-sale product implementation, including device installation, software integration, and laboratory equipment validation.
• Proficiency in collaborating with internal product development, Sales, Marketing, R&D, and key opinion leaders.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, depending on the geographical area and requirements.
• Ability to participate in industry conventions, trade shows, and ongoing virtual and live training sessions.
• Capacity to remain informed about clinical procedures, relevant studies, and competitive innovations.
• Sales incentive (commission) based on the applicable plan terms.
