This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Achieve or surpass designated sales targets within university and research accounts
• Create and execute territory and account strategies that foster balanced revenue growth
• Cultivate strong relationships with academic, research, IT, and business partners
• Manage the complete sales process, from prospecting and discovery to presentations and demonstrations, proposal crafting, negotiation, forecasting, and closing
• Work in conjunction with solution architects, developer relations, product management, business units, and other internal teams to advance customer opportunities and enhance research on NVIDIA platforms
• Collaborate with technology channel partners to broaden market reach and increase sales
• Provide accurate forecasts of pipeline, revenue, and deal progression to sales leadership
• Grasp customers’ software, infrastructure, research, and computing priorities, effectively communicating NVIDIA’s value proposition, product capabilities, and strategic positioning
• Partner with NVIDIA solution architects, developer relations, product teams, business units, and channel partners
• Steer the sales process from prospecting through to closure
• Develop account strategies and convert customer software and computing needs into unique NVIDIA solutions
• Over 5 years of experience in an Account Manager position with revenue responsibilities
• At least 2 years of experience serving higher-education and research clients
• Proven track record of meeting revenue targets and managing sales forecasts
• Background in collaborating with technology industry channel partners and creating go-to-market strategies
• Exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, communication, presentation, and closing abilities
• Excellent customer relationship management skills and the capacity to engage effectively with technical and executive stakeholders
• Proficient in articulating complex technology concepts in a clear and persuasive manner
• Willingness to travel 25%
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Academic, professional, or technical background in science, engineering, research, or a related field
• Familiarity with data science processes, current machine learning techniques, AI advancements, and high-performance or accelerated computing
• A proactive and resilient approach to navigating a fast-evolving environment
• Capability to balance short-term sales execution with long-term account cultivation
• Strong listening skills, creativity, and the ability to influence a diverse range of collaborators
