This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee assigned clients and their e-commerce platforms by strategizing, briefing, monitoring, and executing marketing campaigns focused on enhancing conversions and sales.
• Manage the client-agency relationship, fostering effective communication and trust with the clients assigned to you.
• Develop and implement email, SMS, pop-up, and flow marketing strategies, handling around 40 unique campaigns each month.
• Lead a team of Copywriters, Designers, and Account Managers’ Associates to ensure the seamless execution of campaigns.
• Create campaign calendars, brief campaigns, assign creative tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Track campaign performance and enhance email marketing outcomes.
• Respond quickly to client inquiries and resolve issues related to client satisfaction or campaign performance.
• Lead and participate in regular client meetings while maintaining ongoing client interactions.
• Gather and analyze consumer demographic and trend data to inform marketing strategies and establish weekly objectives.
• Provide reports on email campaign performance, including revenue, top-performing campaigns, A/B testing results, and optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with the Service Department and cross-functional teams to achieve client KPIs and roll out new services and products.
• Manage client expectations and devise strategies to minimize client churn.
• Identify opportunities to broaden services, create targeted upsell campaigns, and present service offerings to clients.
• Research industry best practices and share insights with Account Managers’ Leads, the Head of Account Managers, and the Service Director.
• Assist with internal service-related requirements and engage in Account Managers’ group calls, training, and skill enhancement sessions.
• Report directly to the Account Managers’ Leads, the Head of Account Managers, and the Service Director.
• Minimum of 12 months of experience in a digital marketing role.
• At least 6 months of experience specifically in email marketing.
• Demonstrated success in a leadership position, particularly in guiding a team of creatives to produce high-quality client deliverables.
• Capability to work independently while maintaining high work standards.
• Strong sense of accountability, responsiveness, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical abilities.
• Growth-oriented and results-driven mindset; adept at handling and applying constructive feedback.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt efficiently.
• Excellent time management, focus, productivity, and efficiency skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Hubstaff, Asana, Klaviyo, and Google Workspace Suite.
• Availability and responsiveness during Monday to Friday, 3–6 PM Barcelona time.
• Commitment to consistently working 30–35 hours per week (approximately 140 hours per month).
• Reliable internet connection and a laptop or PC; able to participate in virtual video meetings.
• Proficiency in English.
• Willingness to receive and provide feedback and constructive criticism effectively.
• Experience in remote work, account management, agency settings, email marketing, e-commerce, or familiarity with Klaviyo is a plus.
• Competitive fixed-rate monthly salary paid in USD.
• Full salary payment for the first two months during the trial and adaptation period.
• Regular performance evaluations every 9–12 months, with the first review occurring after 3–6 months.
• Role and workload reassessment after 6–12 months.
