Account Manager, DACH Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Drive the acquisition of new business while also expanding and maintaining current accounts.

• Take ownership of the entire sales cycle: from discovery and value positioning to proposal development and closing.

• Establish relationships with key influencers in the buying process who can advocate for TWS.

• Recognize customers’ business initiatives and align them with value-driven solutions.

• Conduct prospecting through referrals, events, and targeted outreach, including LinkedIn.

• Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to convert complex simulation software capabilities into business value.

• Create and implement strategic account plans in partnership with internal teams.

• Work alongside Applications Engineering to facilitate the pre-sales proof-of-concept process.

• Maintain precise pipeline and activity tracking within Salesforce CRM.

• Stay informed about TWS's new and existing products to effectively communicate their unique value.

• Represent TWS at industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences.

• 3-5 years of experience in account management, sales, or a related discipline.

• Proven capability to drive revenue and close intricate deals.

• Experience in engaging both technical and business stakeholders.

• Strong ability to convert technical concepts into business value.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Skilled with CRM systems and contemporary prospecting tools, including LinkedIn.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.

• Willingness to travel 30-50%, based on customer requirements.

• Preferred: experience in the automotive, aerospace, or cutting tool sectors.

• Preferred: familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, MEDIC, MEDPIC, or Challenger.

• Preferred: knowledge of CAE software.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
