Account Manager – Chromatography Consumables, Food/Environmental

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage a designated territory of key accounts by delivering superior service and technical assistance to clients.

• Organize customer visits to present technical information, conduct product demonstrations, and facilitate technical seminars.

• Participate in local vendor exhibitions and company-hosted trade shows.

• Cultivate account relationships beyond the purchasing level to engage key decision-makers with both new and existing clients.

• Ensure that the assigned territory achieves sales, gross profit, and unit targets.

• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to formulate business plans and sales strategies for key accounts.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams and serve as a resource for colleagues, which includes coaching, mentoring, and training.

• Report to the District Sales Manager as part of the Phenomenex Benelux team.

• Operate remotely from home to service customers in the Netherlands and Flanders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related Science is mandatory.

• Proficient in analyzing, facilitating discussions within a group or team, conveying complex concepts, and negotiating for the adoption of new or differing perspectives.

• Skilled in strategically planning, organizing, and allocating resources to address business requirements.

• Advanced understanding of sales principles and negotiation techniques.

• Proven ability to identify business opportunities at an advanced level.

• Solid knowledge of Chromatography.

• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 60% based on the territory's requirements.

• A valid driver’s license is essential.
