This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Achieve overall sales targets and quotas, particularly for essential growth products, by generating demand within the designated region.
• Introduce new products and service offerings, while generating leads for new equipment.
• Exhibit solution selling capabilities.
• Enhance technical knowledge, verbal fluency, and expertise in veterinary practices.
• Establish and maintain relationships with targeted hospitals and personnel to increase account relevance and access.
• Engage with customers in alignment with Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Develop and implement territory business plans and resource allocation strategies.
• Utilize Zoetis resources effectively and follow up to optimize ROI.
• Fulfill field activity expectations, including sales calls and investment in medical education initiatives.
• Create and execute call cycles at both the account and veterinarian levels.
• Collaborate professionally with colleagues at Zoetis Petcare while upholding standards of integrity, compliance, communication, administration, and teamwork.
• A bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is mandatory.
• 3-10 years of verifiable and successful experience in consultative sales.
• Proven success in prior roles, including creatively identifying opportunities or resolving issues to enhance sales performance.
• Capability to act as a change agent and commitment to continuous learning.
• Proficiency in utilizing analytics and insights to improve decision-making and tactical execution.
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
• Competence in managing assigned expense budgets.
• Highly focused and results-oriented, with the ability to identify goals and priorities and address issues at their inception.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a close team environment; self-starter mentality.
• Experience in Animal Health and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Openness to receiving and integrating feedback.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make fair, informed decisions based on pertinent information.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and capable of learning Zoetis systems.
• Willingness to travel and work some evenings as required.
• Must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
• Travel and occasional evening work for educational programs as necessitated by the role.
• Full-time regular employment.
