This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Generate new business opportunities and enhance sales growth for both existing and new accounts.
• Oversee regional leads and facilitate the onboarding process for new customers.
• Market the complete range of products and services.
• Propel profitable sales growth by retaining customers, expanding revenue, and acquiring new clients within the designated geographic area.
• Develop, identify, and execute growth strategies.
• Deliver value, solutions, and technical assistance to customers.
• Assess and qualify new sales leads.
• Cultivate relationships within a network and represent the company’s brands in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with customers to devise proactive solutions.
• Present products to customers effectively.
• Manage order processes, including entry, contract assessments, delivery performance, inventory management, special handling, product specifications, and returns.
• Participate in reactivation initiatives for inactive accounts.
• Work together with internal and external teams to address customer needs, identify cost savings, recognize competitive challenges, and capitalize on revenue opportunities.
• Create and monitor sales plans to meet annual account-specific objectives.
• Enhance product and technical knowledge to provide valuable technical support and problem-solving.
• Engage with vendor partners to improve solution-selling capabilities.
• Maintain and update the opportunity funnel for the assigned territory.
• Analyze industry trends and link them to customer prospects.
• Formulate and communicate strategic visions for customers.
• Establish strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and external partners.
• Address customer concerns effectively to achieve project objectives.
• Follow up on quotes and inquiries diligently.
• Track KPIs related to customer profitability and service levels, coordinating corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Schedule in-person visits to customers as required.
• Document and maintain customer and sales interactions in the CRM system.
• Maintain indirect and direct accountability for product quality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or Business Administration is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial sales is preferred.
• 2 years of experience in electronics distribution is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM sales pipeline and funnel management is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Regular travel visits to current and prospective customer locations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented sales environment.
• Proven track record of achieving established sales targets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal, time management, and presentation abilities.
• Capability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Consistent and timely attendance is essential.
