This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable partner to StarRez clients within higher education and residential communities.

• Foster account expansion by recognizing upsell possibilities, managing the sales pipeline, and meeting revenue targets.

• Oversee the entire sales process from initial prospecting and tailored product demonstrations to proposals, contract negotiations, and finalizing deals.

• Cultivate enduring customer relationships and align StarRez offerings with client requirements.

• Collaborate with teams in Product, Professional Services, Marketing, and Finance.

• Define solutions, manage licensing and invoicing, and assist with RFP/RFI submissions.

• Provide customer insights to shape product development, market entry strategies, and community involvement.

• Keep records of customer interactions, deal stages, and forecasts using Salesforce, Gong, and other relevant sales tools.

• Assist in post-sale transitions, customer adoption, and ongoing success initiatives.

• Report directly to the Sales Manager.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a leadership role within higher education housing.

• Proficiency in utilizing StarRez or comparable software to enhance operational efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

• Demonstrated success in a revenue-generating or quota-driven position, encompassing outbound prospecting and comprehensive sales cycle management (preferred).

• Strong grasp of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving customer expectations (preferred).

• Capability to translate industry expertise into strategic positioning of solutions (preferred).

• Skill in building trusted relationships, influencing stakeholders across all levels, and negotiating contracts (preferred).

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration to design and implement customer solutions (preferred).

• Ability to work remotely from the US, with a strong preference for candidates located in Central or Eastern Time Zones.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
