This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee all direct sales initiatives for current and potential customer accounts within the designated region.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and prospects to assess their needs and comprehend their business models.
• Showcase high-value solutions by utilizing Sonoco resources.
• Manage activities for multi-site accounts and take on the role of National Account Manager as necessary.
• Create and revise account plans and strategic initiatives.
• Execute, coordinate, and oversee activities linked to account plans.
• Provide updates on progress and sales forecasts.
• Establish and monitor territory prospecting strategies and sales pipelines.
• Keep customer records and gross margin data, along with making pricing suggestions.
• Build and sustain relationships at various levels within key accounts.
• Investigate and advocate for new products, services, and applications.
• Address customer complaints and oversee their resolution.
• Support Marketing efforts at trade shows, conventions, and industry meetings.
• Stay informed on the latest sales techniques, product offerings, and market trends.
• Submit weekly expense reports, call logs, and travel itineraries.
• Enhance the company’s reputation while safeguarding confidential assets and information.
• This role involves coordinating direct sales activities for both existing and prospective accounts.
• Engage regularly with clients and prospects to deliver value propositions using Sonoco resources.
• Manage multi-location accounts and possibly serve as the National Account Manager for certain accounts.
• Prepare account plans, sales call strategies, reports, forecasts, and the territory sales funnel.
• Maintain customer documentation, gross margin data, and pricing recommendations.
• Foster multi-level customer relationships and advocate for new products and services.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues.
• Assist with trade shows, conventions, and industry meetings.
• Submit weekly expense reports, call logs, and itineraries.
• Promote company goodwill, ensure the protection of confidential information, and adhere to company policies.
• You possess a four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• You have a minimum of three years of sales experience.
• Demonstrated success in sales prospecting and new business generation.
• Proven capability to manage multiple sales development projects through intricate development processes.
• Knowledge of the packaging industry, particularly film cores.
• Willingness to travel, as travel requirements may vary.
• Bilingual proficiency is mandatory: advanced reading, writing, and speaking skills in both French and English.
