This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of assigned order and revenue goals while ensuring a profitable mix of products and services.
• Create technology and capital replacement plans tailored to specific accounts, aligned with customer priorities and budgeting cycles.
• Drive opportunity strategies from qualification through to proposal development, commercial negotiations, and final closure.
• Formulate competitive conversion and new account strategies to enhance market presence and share.
• Establish trusted relationships with current and prospective customers through outreach, meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and site visits.
• Recognize customer needs and identify opportunities for upgrades, service contracts, software solutions, and new product offerings.
• Generate leads consistently through prospecting, whitespace analysis, cold calling, and other business development activities.
• Collaborate with strategic account leaders, sales specialists, and team members on complex opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and necessary sales documentation.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of customer, opportunity, pipeline, and forecast data within CRM systems.
• Contribute to forecasting, pipeline assessments, account planning, and customer success initiatives.
• Work alongside Service, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Contract Administration throughout the sales and implementation process.
• Maintain high retention rates within the installed base and address customer concerns through appropriate internal channels.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and other industry-related events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 2–5 years of proven B2B sales or account management experience, ideally in selling medical capital equipment, software, or intricate healthcare technology.
• Experience in selling to hospitals, health systems, or other complex healthcare organizations.
• Proven ability to forge relationships, generate a sales pipeline, and manage opportunities through a multifaceted sales cycle.
• Strong skills in communication, presentation, and commercial negotiation.
• Ability to build credibility with both clinical and executive-level customers.
• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a matrix organization.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated initiative, accountability, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% across Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.
• Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is preferred.
• Background in oncology, radiation therapy, healthcare IT, medical imaging, or hospital environments is preferred.
• Experience in capital equipment sales is preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare software and information systems is preferred.
• Experience with navigating hospital capital budgeting and procurement processes is preferred.
