Account Manager

📋 Description

• Fulfill reporting and data requirements in alignment with client and team expectations

• Take responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction and retention for designated clients

• Cultivate trustworthy relationships with client operational leadership

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of clients' business challenges

• Utilize cross-functional project management skills to address escalated client concerns, coordinating both internal and external teams

• Assist with research and data tasks to resolve escalated client issues

• Identify product deficiencies through business impact evaluations and manage client expectations effectively

• Prioritize issues and evaluate escalations that could lead to client attrition risk, ensuring robust mitigation strategies are in place

• Oversee post-sale customer success and satisfaction from the implementation kickoff

• Create and maintain client success plans

• Coordinate additional SmithRx teams to assist clients in achieving their defined business objectives


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of direct experience in account management or relationship management within the healthcare sector

• Solid understanding of commercial health insurance and pharmacy benefits is strongly preferred

• Proven experience in client relationship management, ensuring that expectations and deliverables are documented, key stakeholders are kept informed, and client satisfaction is achieved

• Exceptional executive-level communication and interpersonal skills

• Skillful in navigating and mediating conflict while fostering open dialogue

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within an extended, cross-functional team

• Self-motivated, results-focused, and possesses a disciplined work ethic

• Ability to take initiative with minimal supervision

• Expertise in conflict resolution

• Highly effective communication skills with a consultative and tactful demeanor

• Ability to perceive situations from the perspective of clients or members

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is mandatory
