This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Foster robust customer relationships and enhance business growth within the Pittsburgh, PA, and New York areas.
• Generate lists of potential customers utilizing directories, industry advertisements, trade shows, websites, and various other sources.
• Travel within the designated territory to engage with both current and prospective clients.
• Showcase and demonstrate products using samples and catalogs.
• Engage in communication via phone, email, promotional materials, trade shows, and in-person meetings.
• Follow up on telesales initiatives and reinforce existing customer connections.
• Provide price quotes and estimated delivery timelines.
• Prepare reports on business transactions and manage expenses through Concur Software.
• Collaborate with inside sales representatives to keep track of current account activities and relevant literature.
• Document new customer information and sales data for existing clients.
• Attend both national and regional trade shows.
• Involve in correlation studies, evaluations, and conversions related to the company’s blood collection system.
• Record customer interactions and activities in the CRDB.
• Log business opportunities in the SAP-C4C Sales Funnel.
• Participate in sales training, refresher courses, and introductory sessions for new products as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Health Science, or a related discipline from a four-year institution, along with 2–3 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical or research sales is required.
• Capability to stand for extended durations.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds for product delivery and trade show arrangements.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% within the designated territory.
• Availability to travel overnight outside the territory up to 50% of the time.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and proficiency in operating a motor vehicle.
• Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check is mandatory.
• Ability to obtain immunization records and adhere to all vendor compliance requirements.
• Training in preventative measures to mitigate exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
