Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert for major brand clients

• Execute outbound prospecting and nurture essential relationships

• Provide education to current and prospective clients regarding products and services

• Build and sustain relationships with key client stakeholders to enhance satisfaction and retention

• Comprehend client goals and challenges to position products and services effectively as solutions

• Recognize opportunities for upselling and cross-selling

• Partner with the sales team to create customized solutions

• Keep client account, contact, and prospect information updated in the CRM database

• Oversee contract renewals and optimize revenue potential

• Evaluate market trends and competitive landscapes to drive account growth

• Formulate strategic account plans to meet revenue objectives

• Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams

• Collect client feedback on product performance and satisfaction

• Identify and address churn risks

• Analyze territory sales and metrics data

• Maintain a retention rate of 90% or higher

⛳️ Requirements

• A business degree is required

• 4-7 years of prior sales experience is necessary

• A proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and achieving high retention rates

• Previous experience in software, technology, publishing, media, advertising, or design market segments is preferred

• Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation abilities

• Experience in planning and executing Account and Territory Management strategies

• Strong contract negotiation skills

• Willingness to travel 25% of the time

• Familiarity with CRM technology

• Salesforce experience is preferred
