This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.
• Meet the business objectives in the South Korea region by overseeing current sales and managing the sales funnel for new prospects.
• Increase market share and presence by acquiring new clients in South Korea.
• Create and implement account plans, establish relationships with key decision-makers, and formulate long-term strategies for accounts.
• Contribute to sales forecasts and oversee the R&O pipeline in collaboration with the line manager.
• Participate in training sessions at Medix Biochemica's global centers of excellence and offer consultative assistance for customer applications and requirements.
• Gather project and product information and relay feedback to the Product Management team.
• Showcase product data and company values to customers and broader audiences.
• Manage distributor partners concerning contact compliance, pricing, objectives, forecasts, training, and logistics.
• Compile, update, and present market data in South Korea, including competitor profiles and market trends.
• Handle customer quotation requests, CRM activities, and follow up on account receivables.
• Work alongside the Global Marketing Team on local marketing initiatives and take part in global events and exhibitions.
• Engage with customers and maintain in-person customer interactions.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of sales experience with account customers or distributors in the IVD/biopharma sector.
• Capability to work independently under pressure and be self-reliant within the territory.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Proficient business and presentation abilities.
• Eagerness and capacity for continuous learning.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements 60–70% of the time and readiness to visit Medix locations as necessary.
• Proficiency in both Korean and English.
• A solid grasp of antibodies and immunoassays is preferred.
• Experience in IVD R&D laboratory work is advantageous.
• Background in selling in-vitro diagnostic raw materials is preferred.
