This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Act as the primary point of contact for designated member-owners and clients of WinField United.
• Oversee the entire WinField United portfolio and cultivate long-lasting relationships with CEOs, General Managers, Agronomy Managers, and other sales executives.
• Establish reliable partnerships and forge strategic connections throughout the system.
• Align and communicate effectively with the Region Sales Director and the sales team.
• Articulate the value proposition, encompassing patronage, programs, pricing, and resources.
• Utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools for communication and internal coordination.
• Manage relationships with partners and manufacturers.
• Create, implement, and execute Account Plans for assigned owners.
• Coordinate internal resources and optimize investments within the owner network.
• Measure progress, address issues, and communicate the execution of Account Plans.
• Act as a liaison between company leadership and owners regarding issues, changes, and daily alignment management.
• Secure owner commitment to key programs, services, and solutions across the WinField United portfolio.
• Ensure positive customer experiences and timely, effective delivery of solutions.
• Advise owners on products and services to fulfill growers’ needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing to negotiate pricing and implement crop protection, seed, and services programs.
• Drive WinField United strategies at the owner level and monitor key metrics.
• Expand business with existing owners and identify areas for improvement, including carbon credits, grain orientation, grower financing, and prescription programs.
• Apply brand ladder strategies.
• Monitor competition and disseminate market intelligence.
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a related business field, along with 7–10 years of industry, direct sales, or account management experience involving direct customer interaction; or 11–14 years of equivalent proven work experience.
• Capability to comprehend the organization’s key business drivers and their connection to profitable growth.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and formal presentation skills.
• Ability to make informed decisions and complete tasks in a high-paced work environment.
• Skill in managing multiple owners while maintaining focus on details and execution.
• Proficient in coordinating and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and influencing at all levels.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage productivity effectively.
• Proficient in building strong relationships.
• Experience in demonstrating agility and adapting swiftly to change.
• Technical expertise in agriculture products/crops and the ability to develop and educate others on products, services, and programs.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Teams and Zoom.
• Experience with Salesforce and CRM software.
• Possession of a current and valid state driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including evenings and some weekends; may require extended hours during peak seasons.
