This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Act as the primary point of contact for designated member-owners and clients of WinField United.
• Oversee the complete WinField United portfolio.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with CEOs, General Managers, Agronomy Managers, and other key sales executives.
• Foster trusted partnerships and create strategic connections throughout the system.
• Collaborate and communicate internally with the Region Sales Director and the sales team.
• Articulate WinField United’s value proposition, encompassing patronage, programs, pricing, and resources.
• Utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools for effective communication and internal coordination.
• Maintain relationships with partners and manufacturers.
• Develop sales strategies and lead the creation, implementation, and execution of Account Plans.
• Coordinate internal resources to optimize investments within the owner network.
• Monitor progress, address challenges, and communicate the execution of Account Plans.
• Serve as a liaison between company leadership and owners concerning alignment agreements.
• Secure owner commitment to the programs, services, and solutions available within the portfolio.
• Ensure positive customer experiences and the timely, successful delivery of solutions.
• Advise owners on products and services tailored to meet grower needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing to negotiate pricing and implement Crop Protection, Seed, and Services programs.
• Drive WinField United strategies at the owner level and monitor key performance metrics.
• Cultivate new business with existing owners and identify areas for improvement, including carbon credits, grain orientation, grower financing, and prescription programs.
• Apply brand strategies to deliver partner and proprietary brand initiatives.
• Monitor competitors and share market insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a related business field, along with 7-10 years of industry experience in direct sales or account management with direct customer interaction; or an equivalent of 11-14 years of demonstrated work experience.
• Capability to comprehend the broader context and essential business drivers.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and formal presentation abilities.
• Competence in making sound decisions and completing tasks in a dynamic work environment.
• Skill in managing multiple owners while maintaining attention to details and execution.
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders and influence at all organizational levels.
• Capacity to work independently and manage productivity effectively.
• Proficiency in building strong relationships.
• Experience in demonstrating agility and adapting quickly to change.
• Technical expertise in agriculture products/crops and the ability to develop and instruct others on products, services, and programs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Teams and Zoom.
• Proficiency in using CRM software, including Salesforce.
• Possession of a current and valid state driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including evenings and occasional weekends; may require extended hours during peak seasons.
