This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans for Sandia National Laboratories and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
• Work alongside the wider NNSA account team on unified customer engagement strategies.
• Build and sustain relationships with engineers, scientists, program managers, procurement teams, and executive leaders.
• Propel demand generation and opportunity development through meticulous account planning, customer engagement, technical consultation, and alignment with executives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and pursue significant growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Business Units, Field Applications Engineers, Customer Success, and strategic partners to optimize opportunities and enhance market penetration.
• Comprehend customer technical roadmaps, funding priorities, organizational initiatives, and strategic goals.
• Coordinate and influence both internal and external stakeholders to achieve customer outcomes.
• Mentor, develop, and acknowledge team members while nurturing a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Guarantee outstanding customer support and engagement, resulting in long-term partnerships, repeat business, and sustained growth.
• Consult with customer engineers, scientists, program managers, and laboratory leadership to propose NI solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Capability to acquire and retain customer-required site access, as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOE clearance is essential.
• Residing in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, or the neighboring New Mexico area, or willingness to relocate.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to customer sites and company meetings.
• Experience in selling to or providing support for the U.S. Department of Energy, National Laboratories, NNSA, federal government, aerospace & defense, or research-oriented organizations is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in business-to-business high-tech sales, engineering, scientific instrumentation, automated testing, or related technical roles is preferred.
• Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and achieving consistent year-over-year revenue growth is preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams is preferred.
• Proficiency in selling hardware, software, services, and custom engineering projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with engaging engineering leadership, program managers, directors, and executive stakeholders is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of NI hardware and software platforms, including LabVIEW, PXI, CompactDAQ, RF, automated testing, or data acquisition solutions is preferred.
• Experience with long sales cycles, government procurement processes, and intricate technical purchasing environments is preferred.
