This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Oversee customer accounts to ensure that company initiatives are effectively executed and functioning properly.
• Foster and sustain robust, long-term relationships with customers, acting as their primary contact and advisor.
• Enhance and expand current accounts by comprehending customer requirements, resolving issues, and recognizing additional sales opportunities.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the company's products and services to meet customer needs effectively.
• Engage with customers through verbal and written communication, providing them with regular updates and reports.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams.
• Establish relationships at client locations to secure ongoing business and extend the company's reach.
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives and cross-selling opportunities within accounts.
• Support sales efforts, including creating proposals and delivering presentations.
• Successfully complete DuBois field training programs.
• Utilize the company's analytics platform to prepare and present service reports.
• Adhere to DuBois safety protocols and complete all required training.
• Travel to customer locations for routine service visits and conduct business reviews.
• Execute essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must reside in Louisville, KY or Lexington, KY.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial Chemical sales, account management, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Capable of managing multiple accounts and prioritizing tasks, necessitating strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in resolving customers’ technical challenges and assisting with improvement processes using product knowledge.
• Document and convey service findings for each customer service visit.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Skilled in performing technical/mechanical on-site testing.
• Ability to learn and assist with DuBois e-Tools, System Surveys, and Cost Calculators.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and analytical tools.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight trips.
• A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, metallurgy, or applied science fields is preferred.
