This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee a portfolio of client accounts that include automobile, property, and general liability exposures.
• Develop and execute client-specific Best Handling Practices.
• Address inquiries and concerns from clients and internal stakeholders.
• Create and sustain Service Level Agreements and Claims Handling Process/Guideline documents.
• Conduct regular stewardship and meetings with clients.
• Assist in achieving financial and production goals through KPI management.
• Evaluate adjuster performance via quality assurance reviews, audits, meetings, and complaint management.
• Review operational dashboard KPI targets on a weekly basis.
• Offer potential leadership, guidance, and mentoring to a dedicated adjusting team.
• Serve in a consultative and advisory role regarding claims matters and technical issues.
• Engage in RFP processes for new business as well as existing client contract renewals.
• University Degree and/or CIP/FCIP Designation.
• At least 7 years of experience in Property & Casualty claims adjusting.
• Multi-provincial experience is preferred.
• Must be fully licensed in Ontario or able to obtain full licensing in Ontario and other provinces.
• Excellent communication skills, including listening, interviewing, and negotiating abilities.
• Capability to adapt communication style to suit the audience.
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing priorities.
• Proficient in computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Capacity to learn new technical systems.
• Proactive and positive approach to customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills.
• Effective negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in speaking and writing French is considered an asset.
