This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Manage existing business accounts while pursuing new business opportunities for both current and prospective clients.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the business.
• Act as the main contact for key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
• Foster enduring, cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Create account strategies that include situation analysis, value propositions, challenges, and sales growth tactics.
• Evaluate the competitive landscape and gather market insights.
• Monitor and assess customer product usage to enhance forecasting, profit margins, revenue growth, accounts payable, opportunity pipelines, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Represent the Batory portfolio by providing product and industry expertise.
• Identify opportunities related to priority products and customers.
• Negotiate pricing and customer agreements.
• Organize and conduct strategic business reviews.
• Support current clients and generate new business through various channels including email, phone, online presentations, and face-to-face meetings.
• Ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions that align with customer requirements and objectives.
• Report monthly and quarterly progress on initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Enhance job knowledge through educational resources, professional publications, personal networks, and industry organizations.
• Collaborate with the Sales Coordinator to onboard and integrate new clients.
• Strengthen existing client relationships and convert prospects into loyal customers.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment sponsorship.
• Candidates must be located in Southern California.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Food Industry.
• Proficient in consultative selling with a hunter mentality, alongside strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Proven capability to communicate, present, and influence in a credible and effective manner.
• Strong business acumen and mathematical skills to support effective margin management.
• Ability to adapt to organizational changes and processes while demonstrating troubleshooting skills.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to detail and prioritization.
• Excellent listening and negotiation skills are essential.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and confident individual who excels in a results-oriented environment.
• Natural relationship builder possessing integrity, reliability, and maturity.
• Capability to prioritize tasks in a competitive environment.
• Domestic travel is required as safety guidelines permit.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with CRM systems.
• Strong proficiency in Excel is necessary.
• Experience with Microsoft D365 is a plus.
