This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive bookings and enhance revenue growth for Azenta’s transportation and relocation services throughout the United States.
• Collaborate with both new and existing clients to promote mobile biorepository solutions, specialized transportation capabilities, and sample-protection processes.
• Cultivate and maintain expertise in sample management services and transportation capabilities.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and academic sectors.
• Utilize established client relationships to stimulate additional bookings and growth prospects.
• Organize and deliver presentations regarding capabilities to both existing and prospective clients.
• Execute prospecting and cold-calling initiatives and follow up on leads generated by marketing efforts.
• Manage sales-related documentation in conjunction with the Sales Operations team.
• Collaborate with territory-based sales account managers and Project Management for effective client management.
• Maintain customer opportunity data in Salesforce CRM, ensuring regular updates and data integrity.
• Generate bi-weekly sales forecasts and compile quarterly business reports.
• Achieve and surpass annual sales targets through strategic territory growth initiatives.
• Support cross-selling opportunities pertaining to informatics, storage, and complementary sample management services.
• Advocate for Azenta’s comprehensive portfolio within the commercial organization.
• Foster and expand strategic relationships with clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in a science-related discipline is preferred.
• At least three years of demonstrated sales experience in life sciences, cold-chain logistics, cold-storage transportation, or a relevant field.
• Proficiency in using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
• Familiarity with and practical application of structured selling methodologies, such as Miller Heiman or Korn Ferry.
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong business acumen, decision-making capabilities, analytical skills, and organizational discipline.
• Consultative approach to managing client relationships with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Capability to clearly articulate Azenta Life Sciences’ sample management and transportation services during customer meetings, virtual presentations, and teleconferences.
• Ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple sales opportunities, adjusting priorities, and meeting competing deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining aligned with team objectives.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Willingness and capacity to travel to client locations, trade shows, conferences, and internal business meetings.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
• Ability to travel domestically and, as needed, internationally.
• Must reside within the designated sales territory.
