Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Business Solutions Team to provide support to contracted customers.

• Deliver an exceptional service experience across all Astound markets.

• Assist both Direct and Indirect Sales teams with serviceability inquiries and proposal management.

• Address billing, service, and product concerns directly or coordinate their resolution with internal teams.

• Engage with operational teams to establish and evaluate metrics, ensuring customer service standards are upheld.

• Aid in the management and implementation of commission plans for indirect agent members within Business Solutions markets.

• Educate and enhance customer understanding of brand and service offerings.

• Foster and maintain robust relationships across various business units.

• Monitor and maintain a minimum level of potential bad debt.

• Keep track of strategic contracts and participate in renewal negotiations.

• Manage customer contact databases, including Ni2, Sugar CRM, and ICOMS.

• Assist contracted customers with requests for moves, additions, changes, and disconnections.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications, focusing on service and customer management.

• High energy and ability to address customer issues and escalations effectively.

• Outstanding presentation and communication abilities.

• Strong skills in organizational development, project management, and process enhancement.

• Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset with the capacity to tackle complex challenges.

• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills via telephone, in writing, and in person.

• Maintains composure in challenging situations.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
