Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for designated accounts in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

• Provide strategic sales direction and communication plans to protect existing business while acquiring new accounts.

• Execute business and marketing strategies for designated accounts alongside stakeholders and leadership.

• Achieve sales targets, ensuring profitable year-over-year growth within the assigned region.

• Expand business opportunities with both existing and new clients through effective prospecting and networking.

• Support key negotiations for new business ventures.

• Establish customer relationships founded on trust and respect.

• Develop cross-functional partnerships that enhance share-of-wallet growth, commercialization, and onboarding processes.

• Engage with co-packers, machinery suppliers, OEMs, and industry associations.

• Collaborate with Sales Management, R&D, Marketing, and Field Service for validation and customer trials.

• Maintain accounts receivable at acceptable levels with assistance from the credit department.

• Work alongside Strategic Marketing and leadership to formulate market and segment strategies.

• Provide sales and marketing performance reports for monthly management reviews.

• Enhance forecast accuracy.

• Oversee account planning, pipeline management, profitability enhancement, and churn management within the CRM tool.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in technical sales and general management, ideally within the packaging sector.

• Demonstrated history of successful sales growth and profitability.

• Experience in negotiations.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 60% of the time.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States (employment authorization will be verified).
