This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Propel commercial growth by collaborating with the entire U.S. sales force, distributors, and relevant internal teams.
• Engage proactively with sales representatives to advocate for products, exchange product and market information, and pinpoint joint customer-engagement opportunities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for commercial, product, application, and process-related inquiries from the sales team.
• Generate, qualify, and cultivate sales leads and opportunities.
• Transfer leads to the designated salesperson, distributor, or account owner with clear context, ownership, and next steps defined.
• Monitor assigned and transferred leads within the Company’s CRM from identification through to closure.
• Oversee opportunity progression and assist in eliminating obstacles from stalled or at-risk deals.
• Foster relationships with distributors, direct customers, end users, sales representatives, consultants, environmental agencies, municipalities, and water-management organizations.
• Present products, provide commercial support, and deliver training.
• Collaborate with the Waterloo, Ontario back office and Delft headquarters on quoting, order processing, shipping, technical inquiries, marketing initiatives, and customer follow-up.
• Supply pipeline reporting, forecasts, activity updates, and sales insights to the Global Sales and Marketing Manager.
• Travel across the United States for sales meetings, customer visits, distributor development, trade shows, training, and opportunity advancement.
• Submit expense reports, travel itineraries, forecasts, and activity reports.
• Meet the assigned national sales target and enhance market presence and distributor effectiveness throughout the United States.
• A minimum of three to five years of commercial experience in sales, business development, account management, channel support, sales enablement, or a closely related field is required.
• Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders and coordinating activities across sales teams, distributors, customers, and internal functions.
• Capability to communicate regularly and effectively with a geographically dispersed sales organization.
• Experience in generating, qualifying, transferring, and tracking leads and opportunities through a CRM system.
• Strong commercial judgment, effective follow-through, and organizational discipline.
• Ability to manage various opportunities and stakeholder requests concurrently.
• Confident in presentation and product-promotion abilities.
• Skillful in clearly articulating value propositions and adapting messaging for diverse audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, reporting, forecasting, and relationship-management skills.
• A collaborative, service-oriented mindset with persistence and accountability to achieve a challenging sales target.
• Ability to work autonomously from a home office while maintaining connectivity with the broader commercial team.
• Preferred experience in environmental monitoring, water management, instrumentation, technical products, or environmental consulting.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. or Canada without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.
