This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway.
• Cultivate AbbVie’s presence in the fields of neurology and migraine within Norwegian general practice.
• Assume dedicated responsibility for the Norwegian GP market specifically within the Oslo region.
• Ensure that AbbVie’s migraine-related messages and expertise are communicated effectively to relevant healthcare professionals.
• Identify, prioritize, and develop pertinent customers and customer segments within general practice.
• Strategically focus on specific areas, practices, and customers for both physical and digital follow-ups.
• Plan and implement commercial initiatives within the designated territory.
• Engage in extensive fieldwork, build relationships, and conduct targeted dialogues with GPs and other healthcare professionals.
• Connect with customers through digital platforms and meetings.
• Work collaboratively with Account Managers who oversee hospitals, private-practice neurologists, and other specialists.
• Contribute to a seamless customer and patient journey across various levels of care.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in the cross-functional In-Field Team and other key departments.
• Relevant higher education in healthcare, pharmacy, life sciences, business, or a related field.
• Experience in sales, customer management, account management, or business development within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven knowledge and experience working with GPs and general practice in the relevant geographic region.
• Solid understanding of the Norwegian primary healthcare system, including the GP framework, decision-making processes, and key stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze and prioritize territories, customers, and activities based on commercial viability and available resources.
• Experience in planning and executing customer activities both in-person and via digital channels.
• Proficiency in Norwegian and a good command of English.
• Interest in or experience with neurology, migraine, or another relevant therapeutic area is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Certification as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, or equivalent relevant qualifications.
• Valid Category B driving license.
• Willingness to travel extensively, primarily within the assigned geographic area.
• Strong local knowledge paired with geographic flexibility.
