This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Promote and sell ABB Electrification products across Columbus, Ohio and its neighboring regions, adhering to the division's strategic goals.
• Meet both qualitative and quantitative sales objectives to drive sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
• Discover and cultivate new sales prospects.
• Market products, systems, and services to clients, with an emphasis on volume, mix, and profitability goals for designated divisions.
• Build and sustain strong customer relationships to grasp their needs and advocate for ABB’s comprehensive product, systems, and services portfolio.
• Tailor solutions to align with customer requirements.
• Deliver added value for both customers and ABB, ensuring successful transactions, contracts, and proposals through proficient sales methodologies.
• Convey information regarding delivery timelines, payment terms, and general conditions in line with ABB’s offerings and strategic direction.
• Collaborate with the bid and proposal department and/or Marketing Manager to prepare offers.
• Ensure that the technical and financial components of offers, such as pricing and trading conditions, are appropriately addressed.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in large commercial construction and industrial projects, ideally within the electrical products sector.
• Proven experience collaborating with electrical contractors and channel partners is essential.
• Thorough knowledge of the local electrical industry and ABB products is preferred.
• Proficiency in utilizing analytical software and sales tools.
• Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred.
• Capability to apply Six Sigma methodologies to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Six Sigma certification or equivalent quality training is a plus.
• Familiarity and experience with a comprehensive range of products and services, including power distribution one line and installation products, is preferred.
• Option to choose between two medical plan alternatives: a PPO plan known as the Copay Plan or a High Deductible Health Plan (with a Health Savings Account) referred to as the High Deductible Plan.
